This class is focused on improving mobility in the body. Month by month we will turn our attention to a different part of the body – strengthening and mobilising the places that might feel stuck.
The teacher will lead you through a series of safe mobility drills to improve range of motion. Expect funky transitions and lots of props used in a new and innovative ways.
Super fun, but challenging. All levels welcome.

Beginner Yoga

The Pila Yoga beginner’s yoga classes introduce our participants to yoga, exploring the fundamental principles of alignment and breath work. Students are talked through the postures with step-by-step verbal descriptions and clear demonstration. Emphasis is placed on student understanding, safety, and stability within each pose. These classes are also useful to those who are familiar with yoga but want a gentle class, and equally those who have been practising for a while but feel that a they would benefit from a refresher.

Warm Rocket

A series of flowing dynamic postures based on the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga primary and intermediate series. The perfect marriage of tempo and sequence. These sequences are appropriate for all levels of students. With plenty of ways to modify the classical poses, the benefits of the poses are transmitted equally to renew vitality and energy.

This dynamic flow is called the “Rocket” because, “it gets you there faster.” The Rocket® is designed to wake up the nervous system and feed it the precious prana it craves while promoting a spirit of change and freedom in the practice.

Yoga Barre

This class is based on the elements of Ballet, Yoga and Pilates.

The movements consist of high energy, low impact and fat burning exercises in a fun and challenging way.

With an emphasis on Ballet posture and technique, we create long lean muscle.

Participating in Barre creates a newfound awareness of the body and an appreciation for smart movement.
